Wow, thanks for waking up my comment from the coffin. =) I was really into Acai back when I posted that a year ago.
A little update now. I no longer drink any V8 juice. I have improved my nutrition since then. I get enough vegetables in my diet that I don’t need V8 (which is just a supplement anyway) anymore. I don’t drink V8 Fusion either. I did eventually try the Sambazon scoop, tho. Due to budget reasons, I stopped after two orders. It is the most budget-friendly Acai you can get, though.
try half a cup of frozen strawberries, half a cup of frozen blueberries, and a cup of orange juice. You can add protein powder and other health suppliments like flaxseed oil, along with raw oats or granola to make a really yummy and healthy shake/smoothie without sugar
It tastes great. I don’t like vegetable juices whatsoever, but it’s pretty good stuff.
I drink this stuff called MonaVie which is an Acai berry blend. It tastes really good and is super EXPENSIVE…as in, RIP OFF, but ever since I’ve been drinking it I’ve been able to do things I coudln’t do before due to my lung function being at 50%….Now it’s 80% and I am able to walk for 15 minutes straight which is amazing for me…I can do things i never thought i would do after the Pulmonary embolism.
Many health experts and doctors are now saying the Acai berry is the #1 superfood. But I wonder just how much acai berry is in V8 Fusion. Whatever the case, this is better to drink than not to drink. You get one full serving of fruits and one full serving of vegetables. So you can’t go wrong… However I am still going to buy the Acai Sambazon powder eventually. And then I won’t drink this particular V8 Fusion drink. I’ll switch to Blueberry or Strawberry because I don’t get enough of those.

There’s practically zero pomegranate or blueberry in that flavor of V8, so I’m guessing there’s hardly any Acai in this one.
