Has anyone ordered from “Extreme Acai Berry”?

Question by Angry Customer: Has anyone ordered from “Extreme Acai Berry”?
I had a bad experience with this company http://www.extremeacaiberry.com. They sent me a trial bottle for $ 4.95. When I received it I noticed in the small print they were going to charge me $ 59/month after the 14 day trial was up so I canceled the same day and sent the order right back with certified mail. Ten days later, they charged my credit card. Was this a mistake or is it common practice for them to rip everyone off ?

the whole purpose of those adds ARE to rip you off! i would call and complain to the manager since you did actually remember to cancel. most people just assume its free and then for months and months they are charged so good for you for checking!

Has anyone experienced any drastic health benefits when drinking Mona Vie?(product containing the Acai berry)?

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

Question by AZN_22: Has anyone experienced any drastic health benefits when drinking Mona Vie?(product containing the Acai berry)?
MonaVie supposedly has many health benefits because it contains 13 servings of fruit in 3 or 4oz. Also the healing properties of the Acai berry is beneficial as well. Since my mother is not to keen on maintaining her health I was curious to hear some feedback from actual users or past users.

Serious answers only please.

The Acai berry is the newest “cure all” product. It will do nothing for weight loss that a good diet with excersise won’t also do.

The thing with the Acia berry is it’s antioxidant level which is beyond what was thought to be even possible until the berry was found. Do some searching on Antioxidants and that will tell you what the Acai Berry will do for you.

I have been drinking acai juice daily. Honestly, I don’t feel any different. But it tastes good and it sure can’t hurt. It’s suposed to be crazy high in anti-oxidents which I think is anti-cancer so the benefits may be there but how can you monitor this?

One word of advice, hang your cursor over the avatars of who is answering your questions. If they just signed up today or yesterday don’t take their advice (including Darion who has been signed up since 2007, he just hasn’t been reported, YET). The ACAI Berry Spammers have been running rampid on Yahoo Answers and you will only get their testimonials aka sales pitch.

I do know there are some healthy ingredients in it but not sure if there are any that are NOT. If I was thinking about it I think I would look up the ingredients first. Watch out for the clever, “some ingredients approved by FDA”, in other words not all of them are. Be cautious of natural ingredients like herbs, some can be bad if taken in high quantities. Just like St. Johns Wort cancels out antibiotics and birth control pills.

I do hope you consider simply changing your eating habits and adding in some exercise in. I lost over 100 lbs and have kept it off for over 10 years now. I tried fad diets and some worked but the weight always came back until I realized I needed to change my eating habits and exercise.

It is almost Spring, soon you can be outdoors walking or gardening for exercise, just a thought.

Best of Luck to you!
