diginfo – www.diginfo.tv Related Links – www.abios.jp Abios Co., Ltd. exhibited the world’s best anti aging fruit, the “Acai Berry”, at the Health Ingredients Japan 2008 show. Acai berries have been eaten by Amazonians from Brazil for many centuries and contain almost thirty times as much polyphenol as red wine, and with its rich nutrients and powerful antioxidant effect, Acai berries can lead to the development of strong bodies that are not easily fatigued. The antioxidants act like a sponge to absorb and destroy oxygen radicals, which are the main cause of aging. However, the nutrients and antioxidant strength are easily damaged when high pressure and heat are applied, so Abios freeze dries the Acai berries to protect the nutrients and antioxidants. Abios also uses only naturally grown Acai berries, so its products contain no agricultural chemicals.

Acai Berry – Abios : Diginfo

diginfo – movie.diginfo.tv The Acai berry has been gaining attention as a fruit rich in nutrients and anti-oxidants that can be a supportive supplement for anti-aging, fatigue recovery and diet. Abios uses only 100% pure all natural berries and provides the supplement in a powder form including Acai freeze dried powder, beverage powder and other powder forms. The berry, which can be found only along the banks of Amazon River, provides a surprising amount of nutritional value. It has three times more polyphenol compared to wine and 4.6 times more anthocyanin than blueberries, and a substance called cyanidin 3-rutinoside (C3R) that is found in the berry provides a greater anti-oxidant effect than carotenoid. Therefore, Acai berries are the most anti-oxidant rich plant of all natural plants. Acai berries are also rich in potassium, iron and fiber and contain the same balance of aliphatic acids as olive oil. However, acai berries have not been commercialized in the past because processing needs to be done within 24 hours after harvest to prevent oxidization, which causes all the nutrients to be lost. Abios established a processing plant on site to freeze dry the berries and successfully produces a 100% pure powder with strict quality control. In the future, Abios intends to collaborate with companies abroad to provide the worldwide market with the acai raw material. The company also plans to commercialize acai in Japan beginning next year.
