I just heard a story on my local news about those Acai Berry On line Ads that we sometimes click on. Once you give your credit card info to them for the so called FREE Sample. They may, or may not send you the free sample, but the very fine print says that you must call them within 30 days to cancel your subscription. If you don’t tell bill your credit card for almost $ 200.00. There was someone on the news that got scamed like that and never even got the product delivered. So beware. Never give your credit card out to those so called scammers.

I ordered 14 trial the other day, and I got that ..
I didn’t know I had to pay $ 90 If I didn’t cancel another month’s pills and it would be automatically charged in my card bill..
I barely got to contact to the customer service,
and the lady said they send me the product this morning and it would be here in 10 days, and I have to pay $ 90 for that !!
because I didn’t cancel in 14 days ! oh my god I didn’t know that !!
I just wanted to know what it was like .. that’s all.. I don’t know what to do..

I called the credit card company and they said that Acai Berry company already charged that $ 90 from my account so unless I cancel that $ 90 order through the company there’s nothing they can do … but I couldn’t .. right?..

So now I’m thinking , I’m supposed to pay card bill next month,
so if I close (block) my credit card account before that and get a new one, and send back the product to the company even tho I have to pay the shipping bills (better than $ 90!!!!) does it work ?
In that way, can I not pay that bill and not anymore ?
I know this has happend to lot of people but they seem like they figured out the way not to pay them anyway .. but I don’t know how to do that in my case .. past 14 day , already charged ..

First… call the 1-800 and immediately cancel any further shipments.
Then tell them that you are also canceling the 14day trial period because you haven’t received anything even after 10 days.
Don’t let them talk you into anything… be firm, if need be, be rude.
Then call back your Credit Card Company and remind them that under VISA agreement you have the right to dispute a charge if you aren’t happy with the product or services and you haven’t been able to resolve this with the merchant. Since you are being charged for an item that you haven’t even gotten yet… tell them that you will send back the product when it arrives and be happy to show VISA the proof that you returned this item to the merchant.
If your Credit Card Co. still refuses to dispute the charges and credit your account then you can tell them that you will pay the bill but that you will immediately close your account after that.

i have been looking at some fat burning tablets etc like i was totally desperate and didn’t even look up on the s***! so i bought it to realise i have even been mugged by “acai berry” i asked for the free trial and paid for the pp only.. for a colon “cleanse gold” and a “acai optimum” they took all together £7.25 for both that i orderd which were free trials but they only sent me one. so i called up and cancelled all of it but they didn’t stop they are taking money from my account every 3 weeks £70 plus and even sendin me packages through the mail that i didn’t even ask for!! what the hell is that all about? i want every penny back how could they do this! what can i do?

If you’re able to, send the product back to the company. If that’s not possible, and you can’t cancel the transaction, then close your bank account and open a new one.

There are a few magazines that do the same thing.

If none of those things work, contact a lawyer and find out what your rights are. You shouldn’t have to pay for something you tried to cancel.
